Standard Chartered Private Bank Appoints
Head of Sales in the Americas

The Standard Chartered Private Bank announced today the appointment of Diego Y. Polenghi as Senior Director, Head of Sales, Private Bank, Americas. He is based in Miami with primary responsibility to manage and expand Standard Chartered’s Private Banking sales effort in Latin America. Diego reports to Diego Folino, Head of Private Bank, Americas.

With over 20 years of experience in Wealth Management, Diego has an extensive background in private banking and securities brokerage, with a primary focus on high net worth individuals and families in Latin America. Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank, Mr. Polenghi was Head of Banque Privee BCP (Suisse) S.A. Latin America, based in Geneva, Switzerland. He has worked in the USA and Switzerland for Credit Suisse, UBS, Standard NY Securities and Beta Capital Management.
Diego holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance from School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA/HWV), Zurich, Switzerland.
